Environmental Mission Statement

To ensure Puerto Venecia leads by example in demonstrating Environmental Best Practice through its Design, Construction, Operation and ongoing collaboration with the Tenants, Public and Local Amenities:

1. Use land wisely & protect areas of natural beauty.

2. Use less energy and more environmentally friendly forms of energy including the application of renewable technology.

3. Limit the amount of water treated for human consumption and increase the amount of environmentally friendly supply and drainage systems.

4. Reduce the amount of raw materials used for construction, consider appropriate means of extraction of materials that are plentiful and encourage local sourcing of materials.

5. Provide safe disposal of used materials that cannot be recycled.

6. Protect and enhance wildlife and bio-diversity.

7. Take a proactive role in educating both the tenants & public in environmentally responsible action.
